Cruising to Alaska is a journey like no other and is one of my favorite places to visit. Let’s explore the beauty of each season!!
  • April - May: Cruising during this time you will witness nature waking up! Glaciers melt, wildflowers bloom, and wildlife emerging.
  • June, July and August: Warmer temperatures, an average of 17 hours of daylight, and schools’ summer vacations all make Alaska a popular destination for cruising during this time.
  • September - October: School is back in session which means fewer crowds at ports, but the chances of seeing the Northern Lights return, especially if combining your cruise with a land tour that takes you further north into Alaska. Fall is also mating season for wildlife.
Having a customized experience tailored to your family needs and preferences is important.  I’m here to provide you with that experience.  Click the vacation inquiry for to start planning.

Travel hiccups happens and no matter how well you plan, travel can sometimes throw a curveball your way, a missed connection, a lost piece of luggage, or those sudden weather changes. I believe that these ‘hiccups’ are just part of the adventure, they have happened to me and I'm here with my guidance and support to turn those unexpected moments into mere footnotes on your amazing journey. After all, every great story needs a little twist!
Here are my recommendations on what to do about them:
  • Delayed and cancelled flights:  What to do? Check the Department of Transportation Cancellation and Delayed Dashboard to see what each major airline will and will not offer in the event of a controllable cancellation.
  • Lost or Delayed Luggage:  Find the airline's baggage claim and file a claim BEFORE you leave the airport.  If you can't locate their desk, call the airline ASAP to report it.  VERY IMPORTANT:  Keep all the receipts for any essentials you need to buy.  Then when you are back from your trip, file a claim with your travel insurance (one more reasons to get travel insurance).
  • Seat changes surprises:  Head straight to gate and talk with the gate agent.  Gate agents are your best friend here as they can help fix the seating situations.  Don't forget to be kind, that goes a long way when trying to get help with airlines.
  • Rental Car Issues:  If the car rental was not what you expected, contact the rental company customer service.  They will help you find a solution and might be able to offer an upgrade or switch your vehicle.
  • Your Hotel Room is not what you expected?  As for the manager and express your concerns.  Be very specific about the issues and give them the resolutions you want.
Don't get discourage,  we all have had hiccups when traveling but having a travel advisor by your side makes the process easier.
