The holiday season is approaching and I don't know about you but I'm dreaming of getaways filled with joy, relaxation and adventures.   Whether you're planning a family vacation, a romantic getaway or a solo vacay, here I'm sharing some essential travel tips to help you navigate the holiday travel.

• ​Book early - Book your flights and accommodations as early as possible. Ideally at least 6 months in advance (more for popular destinations like Alaska, Hawaii, Europe).
• Be flexible with dates - Flying on actual holidays can ofter result in lower fares and less crowded airports.
• Travel during off peak hours - Early morning or late night flights are usually less crowded and have a higher chance of departing on time.
• Arrive early to the airport - I recommend at least 3 hours for domestic flights and even earlier for international ones.  
• Choose your destination according to your family needs
• Consider Travel Insurance - Protect your travel against unexpected cancellations or interruptions.
