I grew up visiting Walt Disney World. From the time I was 5 years old my parents would take my sisters and me to visit every Summer. In 2003 I came to Los Angeles and visited Disneyland. I have to admit I wasn't impressed because growing up visiting Walt Disney World it was not really what I was used to. After I moved to Los Angeles I started to love Disneyland more and more. Disneyland is the original park, where Walt Disney personally walked and where the magic started. The history and the details at the parks are amazing.
The closeness of both parks to the resorts, the laid back atmosphere, the advantage of not needing to use transportation from the property resorts to the parks, the unique experiences and unique classic rides like Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Matterhorn Bobsled, Alice in Wonderland, Mickey's Toon Town, and Casey Jr Circus Train to mention some are just worth the visit. Disneyland Parks is a must if you are a Disney lover but haven't been yet.
